Permissions
All of the material published by Kids Can Press (KCP) is under copyright law. Written permission from KCP is required if you wish to reproduce our material in any form or to utilize the intellectual property of our creators in any way.
All requests must by made either by mail, e-mail or fax. We cannot grant verbal permissions over the phone, as we need time to consider each request carefully. Please remember to include full details about your project, including print run, price, number of pages, publication date, territory and language, where applicable.
The Permissions department evaluates each request, and, in most cases, charges a fee for use. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but it may take up to four weeks, and longer if you have requested any changes to the material that must be approved by the author and/or illustrator. Please allow enough time for your request to be processed.
Permission to use material from Kids Can Press in K-12 Common Core student assessments in the U.S. should be done through Copyright Clearance Center’s Student Assessment License.
For photocopy requests contact Access Copyright (in Canada), or the Copyright Clearance Center (in the US). In all other cases, contact:
