What was your training or schooling?
Film studies

How did you get involved with children's books?
My family members are all children's illustrators, so my involvement just made sense.

Do you have any tips for young creators?
Don't limit yourself or your creativity.

What is the thing you like the most about creating kid's books?
I like that a child's imagination can always go further than an adult's. It allows you to push yourself.

How do you research or create your illustrations?
I try not to overthink or overwork my illustrations. I just like to let it flow out.

Where do you get your ideas?
From my dreams

What materials do you work in? What is the difference between different materials?
I work with acrylic paint and pencil crayon, or on the computer. I find that my freehand style is much more wild and fun, and that the computer is far more graphic and controlled.

What's your greatest childhood memory?
Warm summer mornings and my imagination
