Darren Lebeuf - Author

Darren Lebeuf grew up on a humble acreage in rural Alberta, where he spent his days drawing, painting and exploring the outdoors. After studying art and design at Grant MacEwan University, Darren started his career as an exhibit designer at the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller, Alberta.

In 2006 he set off on a world adventure, spending years living in Vietnam and then Hong Kong, where he continued his creative career by becoming an internationally acclaimed family and wedding photographer. In 2015 Darren moved to North Vancouver and pursued his long-lost passion for writing and illustrating. He published his first picture book a few years later. He now lives in his Edmonton, Alberta, with his wife, two kids, and their Siberian forest cat.
