Scaredy Squirrel moves from page to screen!
Nelvana Studios and Nelvana Entertainment will collaborate with Kids Can Press to expand the reach of this popular children’s book character by producing a television series, animated shorts for on-air, on-line and on-mobile distribution, and launching an international merchandise and licensing program. Nelvana will be responsible for worldwide broadcast and distribution sales.

The 26-episode animated television series and companion shorts will be produced by Nelvana. Mélanie Watt will collaborate on the development of the television series. More updates to come!

KCP has relaunched our website to be more interactive and user-friendly. The site offers more free downloadable content (including learning resources, printable sticker pages, posters and more), easy to use search functions, printable feature sheets for all titles, cover-to-cover previews of 95 books and curriculum connections for the full list of over 650 books.

Advance Reading Copies for Spring 2009 books
Advance reading copies of three new Spring 2009 books will be available at both NCTE and ALA-MW. Be sure to pick up copies of the first in a new graphic novel series, A Sam & Friends Mystery: Dracula Madness, as well as two new KCP Fiction titles, Seeing Red and Pieces of Me.
